Orthopaedic Conditions

Orthopaedic complaints in dogs are sadly quite common and cover a wide range of conditions. If your dog is diagnosed with an orthopaedic condition your vet will talk you through the options available. These will include rehabilitation or maintenance processes of which massage can form a very important part.

Some of the most common conditions that our canine friends can suffer from are listed below. By clicking on the link you will gather more information.

Please note clinical massage cannot change or alter an orthopaedic condition. HOWEVER, it can be extremely beneficial in both supporting the musculature and soft tissue around the joint(s) affected and also the functioning of many of the dog’s body systems that will in turn help them to cope better with the condition.

Please rest assured I will never carry out massage on your dog without your vets consent.
